What does After Close Watchlist Recap Skill do?
Data Dependencies and Prerequisites
It is recommended to use the Wind wind-mcp-skill to obtain underlying data. Before execution, check if wind-mcp-skill is already available locally; if not, prompt the user to install it:

Skill Positioning
This skill standardizes the post-close review process for a set of watchlist stocks, helping users answer three key questions: who was strong and who was weak today, what drove that strength or weakness, and whether they are worth watching tomorrow. The goal is to provide a clearer observation list for the next trading day, rather than just a summary of gains and losses.
Execution Flow
Step 1: Review Daily Performance
Check key performance metrics for each stock individually, including:
- Price change, amplitude, volume change, turnover change
- Whether there were intraday patterns such as rally-then-retreat, dip-then-recovery, or end-of-session anomaly
- Whether the stock is leading, following, or significantly lagging compared to its sector and the broader market indices
Step 2: Explain Performance Drivers
Prioritize determining which category of factors drove today's performance:
- New news or announcements
- Sector rotation or market style shift
- Technical level triggered
- Capital games or emotional release
- No clear catalyst, only moving with the market
Step 3: Identify the Nature of Strength/Weakness
Categorize strength and weakness into more decision-useful types, rather than just looking at gains and losses:
- Active strength: still strong even when decoupled from the sector
- Passive follow-up: clearly driven by the sector
- Pressure-led weakness: lack of rebound momentum or broken structure
- Noise volatility: no clear thematic change
Step 4: Distill Next-Day Observation Points
For each stock worth continuing to track, distill one key verification point for the next day, for example:
- Whether the strong volume trend can continue
- Whether it will fill a gap
- Whether it holds a newly formed key level
- Whether there is any event catalyst continuing
Step 5: Update Attention Priority
Provide recommendations for adjusting the attention level for the next day:
- Increase priority: new theme, new strength, or new catalyst emerged today
- Maintain priority: logic unchanged but no incremental signal
- Decrease priority: structure broken, catalyst missed, or attention clearly faded
Step 6: Output Closing Recap Summary
The final output should focus on "results + explanation + next-day observations" and should not show the step-by-step investigation process.
Output Structure
Watchlist Closing Recap ({YYYY-MM-DD})
1. Key Recap Conclusions for Today
- Strongest Observation Target: {stock/reason}
- Weakest Observation Target: {stock/reason}
- Most Valuable Clue to Bring to Tomorrow: {clue}
2. Stock-by-Stock Recap
| Stock | Daily Performance | Driver Explanation | Strength/Weakness Nature | Next-Day Observation Point | Attention Level |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| {Stock A} | {Brief description} | {Reason} | Active strength | {What to watch} | Increase |
| {Stock B} | {Brief description} | {Reason} | Pressure-led weakness | {What to watch} | Decrease |
3. Sector and Market Background
- {Which sectors had a significant impact on watchlist performance}
- {Whether market style has changed}
4. Preparation for Tomorrow
- Priority Watchlist for Tomorrow: {List of stocks}
- Stocks Awaiting Confirmation: {List of stocks}
- Stocks That Can Be Temporarily Removed from Core Focus: {List of stocks}
Quality Requirements
- The recap must answer "Why did this happen today?", not just record the results.
- Conclusions should serve the next day's preparation; avoid writing a purely record-based daily report.
- Stocks with no incremental changes can be summarized briefly; do not apply equal effort to all.
- Strength/weakness judgments must incorporate sector and market context; do not evaluate in isolation.
- If no clear driver is found, clearly state "No clear new drivers identified" to avoid over-interpretation.
