Reels — Visual Metaphor Format (Dr. Julie Smith style)

Brendan Kane case study: Dr. Julie Smith (clinical psychologist, 9M TikTok followers, sách "Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before?"). Signature: lấy concept trừu tượng (stress, trauma, anxiety, healing) và minh họa bằng 1 physical prop — bucket of water, paper crumpled, drill, jar of sand, balloons.

Core insight: Concept trừu tượng khó remember. Physical prop + physical action tạo "aha moment" visual — viewer hiểu instantly và share vì "tôi chưa bao giờ nghĩ theo cách này".

Structure (5 sections, ~30-60s total)

1. Hook (0-3s) — state concept trừu tượng + tease visual
2. Prop setup (3-10s) — introduce physical object + establish "đây = concept"
3. Metaphor demo (10-35s) — physical action on prop = abstract action on concept (main moment)
4. Insight/principle (35-50s) — tie physical outcome to real-world takeaway
5. Soft CTA (50-60s) — non-autocratic

Input

1. Abstract concept cần giải thích (vd: "AI agent automation", "context engineering", "prompt engineering", "workflow bottleneck", "burnout khi solo founder")
2. Audience context (optional — default: SME VN / office worker non-coder)
3. Duration (default 45s)

Process

Step 1 — Nail the concept to ONE sentence

Viết concept thành 1 câu ≤15 từ. Nếu dài hơn — concept chưa đủ sắc. Reject & refine.

Bad: "AI agent là 1 hệ thống có thể tự động hóa nhiều task phức tạp một cách linh hoạt" Good: "AI agent làm thay bạn 80% việc lặp lại mà không cần code."

Step 2 — Brainstorm 3 prop candidates

Cho mỗi concept, tìm 3 physical objects có property matching. Rules:

• Visible action: prop phải có action rõ (đổ, bơm, siết, rót, đâm)
• Satisfying: có âm thanh hoặc visual payoff (ting, splash, pop, drip)
• Cheap + accessible: user rent/buy trong ngày (không cần studio)
• Precision mapping: mỗi physical property = 1 abstract property

VD "AI agent automation":

• Option A: Bucket nước (tasks chồng chất) + drill (AI agent) → drain water = automate
• Option B: Đống giấy (emails) + máy shredder → process = automate
• Option C: Quả cầu tuyết đang lăn (manual work) + thắng tay (AI agent) → stop snowball

Chọn option mapping chính xác nhất + satisfying nhất.

Step 3 — Write Last Dab FIRST

Câu kết thúc "sticky" — viewer nhớ sau 24h. ≤12 từ. Tie back visual.

VD: "Bucket này là công việc của bạn tháng này. Drill này là AI agent. Bạn chọn cái nào?"

Step 4 — Hook 0-3s

Hook pattern (chọn 1):

• "Đây là [concept] giải thích bằng 1 [prop]."
• "Nếu bạn nghĩ [concept] phức tạp, xem cái này."
• "[Concept] trông như thế này trong đời thực."
• "Tôi sẽ giải thích [concept] bằng 1 [prop]. Xem hết video."

Viết 3 hook variations cho user chọn.

Step 5 — Prop setup (3-10s)

Introduce prop. Establish mapping 1-1 clear:

• "Bucket này = công việc lặp lại của bạn mỗi ngày."
• "Jar này = context bạn đưa vào AI."
• "Flashlight này = prompt thường. Laser pointer = prompt chính xác."

Rule: KHÔNG giải thích concept. Chỉ label prop = concept. Viewer phải tự build bridge.

Step 6 — Metaphor demo (10-35s) — MAIN MOMENT

Physical action. Camera close-up. Sound on. Slow motion nếu cần.

Bao gồm:

• Setup shot (5s) — show prop intact
• Action shot (15s) — physical interaction (đổ, bơm, siết, drill)
• Result shot (5s) — outcome visible (empty, transformed, destroyed)

Voiceover minimal — để visual nói. Nhiều nhất 10 từ trong 25s này.

VD "Context engineering":

[Setup] Đây là jar. Bạn đổ layer trắng vào (basic context). [Action] Bạn đổ thêm đỏ (task), xanh (examples), vàng (format)... layer rõ ràng. Bây giờ tôi lấy thìa. Khuấy. [Result] Tất cả thành bùn nâu. AI không biết layer nào trước.

Step 7 — Insight/principle (35-50s)

Tie visual outcome → real-world takeaway. Format:

• "Đây là lý do [physical outcome] — và cũng là lý do [real outcome]."
• "Bucket rỗng hay đầy phụ thuộc vào bạn [action]."

Rule: ≤25 từ. Không moralize. Không "phải", "nên".

VD: "Jar rõ layer = AI trả lời đúng. Jar khuấy = AI generic. Context engineering không phải nhét nhiều — là xếp thứ tự."

Step 8 — Soft CTA (50-60s)

Benevolent hoặc Laissez-faire. KHÔNG autocratic:

• "Nếu bạn muốn thử, mình có template context trong AI Freedom Builders — link bio."
• "Bạn đang xếp jar thế nào? Comment xem mình reply."
• "Follow cho thêm visual metaphor về AI như vầy."

Step 9 — Production notes

Cho mỗi section, note:

• Camera: close-up prop / wide / face
• Lighting: soft natural (không hard studio)
• Sound: prop sound raw (không music đè)
• Pacing: slow action + quick cut result
