Sociology Open Book Review

Quick Start

Read references/project-prompt.md before any substantial work. It contains the project scope, allowed chapters, source hierarchy, output design, citation format, workflow, and coverage checklist.

Use the prompt as the project memory. If the user provides newer course instructions, incorporate them and call out any change to the existing scope.

Source Hierarchy

  1. Teacher checklist and lecture emphasis define exam coverage.
  2. Textbook chapters provide concise definitions and printable page references.
  3. Xiangtu Zhongguo and Jiangcun Jingji coverage must be self-contained because the original books may not be brought into the exam.
  4. PPT cases and teacher examples should be folded into application frameworks.

Workflow

  1. Confirm the requested artifact: quick-reference sheet, term index, short-answer framework, application-question bank, LaTeX PDF, or coverage audit.
  2. Keep the structure lookup-oriented: terms, page references, answer skeletons, and application frames.
  3. Use Chinese by default.
  4. Preserve the open-book purpose: fast location, compact wording, and clear source tags.
  5. When building the full PDF, compile and visually inspect the result for readable two-column print layout.

Quality Rules

  • Cover every item in the course checklist or explicitly mark what is missing.
  • Cite textbook items with chapter/section/page when available.
  • Keep textbook material concise; make the two classic readings self-contained.
  • Do not rely on unpublished local screenshots or temporary render files unless the user provides them in the current workspace.

Public Repository Boundary

This public skill includes the project prompt only. Do not publish scanned textbooks, full book texts, classroom PPT photos, rendered page images, teacher email addresses, student identifiers, or large extracted notes unless the user explicitly confirms they should be public.
