Caveat は、Claude Code や Codex などの AI エージェントに永続的な記憶層を提供するツールです。Git で管理されるマークダウンファイルをナレッジベースとして活用し、SQLite の FTS5（全文検索）機能を使って高速かつ柔軟な情報検索を実現します。これにより、エージェントはセッションをまたいで知識を保持・参照できるようになります。また、MCP（Model Context Protocol）やネイティブエージェントフックをサポートしており、様々な開発ツールとシームレスに連携できます。主に Claude Code と Codex 向けに設計されていますが、汎用的な長期記憶レイヤーとして他のエージェントでも利用可能です。
