tsdown は、Rolldown をベースにした高速な TypeScript / JavaScript ライブラリ向けバンドルツールです。tsup からの移行を容易にしつつ、旧来のツールよりも大幅に高速なビルドを実現します。主な機能として、ESM、CJS、IIFE 形式の出力、TypeScript 型定義ファイルの生成 (dts)、最小化、ソースマップ、外部モジュール設定、エイリアス解決、ワークスペースプロジェクトのサポート、ウォッチモード、CLI モード、プログラム API、設定ファイルサポートなどがあります。tsdown は Rolldown を基盤としているため、従来の Rollup ベースのバンドラーよりも高速な処理が期待でき、特に大規模ライブラリやモノレポ構成のプロジェクトで効果を発揮します。設定は TypeScript の設定ファイル (tsdown.config.ts) から柔軟に行え、コマンドラインでも容易に操作できるため、CI 環境や開発ワークフローに統合しやすい設計になっています。
