What is ai-model-wechat?

The tencentcloudbase/ai-model-wechat skill enables AI integration inside WeChat Mini Programs (including enterprise WeChat Mini Programs and wx.cloud apps) via the wx.cloud.extend.AI API. It provides two main functions: generateText for simple text generation and streamText for streaming responses with callbacks like onText, onEvent, and onFinish. Models are selected using wx.cloud.extend.AI.createModel with groups such as hunyuan-exp (for the Mini Program growth plan), cloudbase (managed), or custom-* prefixes. Model IDs like deepseek-v4-flash, deepseek-v3.2, hunyuan-2.0-instruct-20251111, glm-5, and kimi-k2.6 must be placed in the data wrapper model field. Note that the WeChat Mini Program API differs from the standard JS/Node.js SDK: streamText requires a data wrapper, while generateText returns a raw response. A mandatory two-step preflight check must be completed before writing any code—see the skill body for details. This skill is specifically for WeChat Mini Program environments and should not be used for browser/web (use ai-model-web), Node.js backend (use ai-model-nodejs), or image generation (use ai-model-nodejs).
