shre-skills 是做什麼的?
Official source and install links: shre-skills distribution tracker. GitHub and the Skills CLI are the supported channels; OS app stores are not applicable.
Public catalog and release state are recorded in product.json and docs/distribution-log.md.
Focused agent skills for building fast, correct web apps.
HTML/CSS/JS · React + TanStack · performance · caching · security · GPU/WASM rendering

One place to pull consistent, opinionated guidance instead of re-searching every time. Portable Markdown installed to the paths supported by your coding agent through the Skills CLI. Each skill has a focused Markdown entry point and optional task-specific references. Maintained by Shreyam Adhikari ("buggythegret"); moving web-platform sources are pinned in docs/source-baselines.json and reviewed before refreshes.
Product site: skills.shreyam1008.com.np — live on Cloudflare Pages, HTTPS verified 9 September 2026. Browse and search the catalog, read the source, or copy an install command.
For one-off work, use Copy prompt on any catalog card, replace the task placeholder, and paste into your coding agent. The prompt links the public skill guidance; no skill installation is needed. Your agent needs URL access and the browser, project, or platform tools required by the task. Prompts are also included in skills.json and llms.txt.
Google Chrome's Modern Web Guidance
is tracked as an upstream companion, not duplicated as another broad shre-skills
entry. It provides targeted, current browser guidance across CSS, HTML, JavaScript,
performance, forms, accessibility, and security. Its pinned source and the
existing skills it informs are recorded in docs/source-baselines.json.
For a feature-specific guide, use npx modern-web-guidance@latest search "<task>".
⚡ Quick start
Run from your target project with Bun and Node.js installed. Select all skills, then choose your agent in the CLI. Prefer npm? Replace bunx with npx in any command:
bunx skills add shreyam1008/shre-skills --skill '*'
Want just one? Use --skill <name> from the table below:
bunx skills add shreyam1008/shre-skills --skill webgl
For live Chrome and React debugging, install browser-devtools and try:
“Use $browser-devtools to inspect this app at <URL> and diagnose the slow <interaction>.”
It reproduces the issue, collects focused request/component/profile evidence, and
verifies the cause. The workflow uses native agent-browser with installed Chrome;
installing the skill alone does not install the controller or connect MCP.
See the short usage guide.

🧩 Skills
Agent-specific discovery and invocation depend on your client. Each skill provides a
nameanddescriptionso compatible agents can select it for matching tasks.
| Skill | For |
|---|---|
ask-dont-assume | Ask before unresolved choices and review assumptions once before material changes. |
code-quality | Focused code review, correctness, and simplification. |
database-guardrails | Ask-first database work with minimal schemas, programmatic migrations, and evidence-based indexes. |
html | Semantic markup, forms, a11y, metadata. |
css | Grid/flex, container queries, :has()/@scope, tokens. |
javascript | Modern JS/TS: async, immutability, footguns. |
git | Commits, branching, rebase/merge, recovery. |
react-best-practices | React components, effects, data loading, and rendering-performance diagnosis. |
tanstack | Query/Router/Table/Form/Start; cache keys, mutations, and route data. |
web-performance | Core Web Vitals, adaptive frame budgets, scheduling, load speed. |
browser-devtools | Native Rust CLI + Chrome for requests, storage, runtime, traces, and React inspection; advanced DevTools when needed. |
caching | Cache-Control/CDN/browser/SW/query, invalidation. |
service-worker | PWA, offline, caching strategies, updates. |
security | Validation, encoding, auth, secrets, XSS/CSRF/injection. |
react-three-fiber | 3D with @react-three/fiber + drei. |
webgl | Raw WebGL/GPU, shaders, draw-call budgets. |
webgpu | Browser WebGPU/WGSL, compute, device loss, measured fallbacks. |
vgpu | Vercel vgpu: shader effects, procedural materials, 3D, visual UI, and version-aware docs. |
wasm-rust | Hot paths to Rust + WebAssembly. |
low-level-web-rendering | Production router for DOM, SVG, Canvas, GPU, WASM, and rendering labs. |
web-design-guidelines | Visual systems, themes, hierarchy, accessibility, and UI state reviews. |

🛠️ Install options
Skills are Markdown files with no build step. The CLI selects the supported directory for your agent; the bundled Bash script copies into .agents/skills/.
# 1 · Skills CLI (recommended) — installs straight from GitHub
bunx skills add shreyam1008/shre-skills --skill '*' # all skills; choose agent
bunx skills add shreyam1008/shre-skills --skill webgl # one
# 2 · Bundled script (clone this repo first)
./install.sh # all → ./.agents/skills
./install.sh webgl ~/code/my-app # one → target project
# 3 · By hand
mkdir -p my-app/.agents/skills
cp -R skills/webgl my-app/.agents/skills/
To inspect the catalog before installing:
bunx skills add shreyam1008/shre-skills --list
To target one agent without affecting other clients, add --agent <agent-name>.
Add --global for a user-level install. Review the destination before confirming.
To refresh skills installed through the CLI, run bunx skills update and choose the scope.
The bundled script replaces the selected skill folder, including any local edits; back up customizations before rerunning it.
On Windows, run install.sh from Git Bash or WSL.
For reproducible installs, use a detached checkout at a full commit SHA with the bundled installer. The first CalVer release proposal includes pinned-install commands and a rollback checklist; its proposed tag is not yet published.
See the Skills CLI documentation for agent names and supported options.
Merged skills
The library now has 22 focused skills. Use these replacement names for new Skills CLI installs:
| Previous name | Replacement |
|---|---|
minimalism | code-quality |
react-rendering-performance | react-best-practices |
design-language | web-design-guidelines |
The bundled install.sh translates the previous names to their replacements. The external Skills CLI discovers only the active names. Existing installed copies are not automatically removed: review any local edits, install the replacement in the same scope, then remove or disable the retired copy in your agent's skills directory. Old website Markdown URLs redirect to their replacements, and old catalog anchors still resolve.

- Structure:
skills/<name>/SKILL.md— frontmatter (name+description) then guidance. Agents can discover the metadata before loading the body. Copy the whole skill folder, including optionalreferences/files; load those references only for matching tasks. - Source baselines:
