Interview the user relentlessly about every aspect of their plan until reaching a shared understanding. Walk down each branch of the design tree, resolving dependencies between decisions one-by-one. For each question, provide a recommended answer.
Ask questions one at a time. Focus on:
- Unstated assumptions and implicit dependencies
- Edge cases and failure modes
- Scalability and maintenance implications
- Security or correctness gaps
- Alternative approaches that were not considered
If a question can be answered by exploring the codebase, explore the codebase instead of asking.
Continue until all branches of the design tree have been explored and the user confirms alignment on each decision.
