MoviePy est une bibliothèque Python dédiée au montage et à la manipulation de fichiers vidéo (et audio). Elle permet de découper, concaténer, appliquer des effets, ajouter des textes, des images ou des animations, sans nécessiter un logiciel de montage lourd. Compatible avec Python (>=3.0), elle utilise FFmpeg pour le rendu et gère les formats vidéo/audio courants (MP4, AVI, GIF, etc.). MoviePy expose une API intuitive basée sur des *clips* (VideoClip, AudioClip) qui peuvent être combinés et modifiés programmatiquement. Elle est particulièrement utile pour automatiser des tâches de montage, créer des générateurs de contenu vidéo, ou réaliser des effets spéciaux simples.
