Used-Item Resale Listings
Create listings that set accurate buyer expectations. The shared workflow lives here; marketplace rules live in references/platforms/.
Workflow
- Identify the marketplace. If none is named, prepare a universal draft and list the fields to confirm.
- Read the marketplace module in
references/platforms/before writing buyer-facing content. - Collect confirmed facts: item identity, version, specifications, age, use history, repairs, damage, function, included items, price, negotiation, and handover.
- Research current or disputed facts—market value, specifications, compatibility, regional version, platform rules, fees, and required fields—from official sources first.
- Use
references/card-template.mdto return price guidance, structured fields, paste-ready copy, a photo checklist, and only material open questions.
Shared Rules
- State known functional and cosmetic defects plainly. Do not call condition “perfect,” accessories “original,” or a version “regional” without evidence.
- Separate confirmed facts from conclusions. Mark unverified details for confirmation rather than inventing them.
- Compare like with like when pricing: model, condition, included items, location, delivery, and marketplace fees affect value.
- Never publish a serial number, exact address, private contact, or personal document without explicit permission.
- Do not promise shipping, returns, warranty, disassembly, carrying, loading, translation, or modification unless the seller confirmed it.
- Keep the same item facts across platforms; adapt only language, fields, price presentation, and platform rules.
Adding a Marketplace
Create references/platforms/<marketplace>.md, register it in references/platforms/README.md, and define:
- buyer-facing language, locale, selling region, and writing style;
- required fields and category conventions;
- price, currency, fee, shipping, return, and tax caveats;
- platform-specific restrictions or facts that must be verified.
Final Check
- Item, condition, included items, defects, price, and handover terms agree everywhere.
- The copy uses the platform module’s language.
- Claims that can change or be disputed have a source or cautious wording.
- Photos show the item, included items, operation where relevant, and every material defect.
