Brand grid video
Use a grid to show the range of a product without turning it into unrelated tiles. Mix real interface moments with the mark, palette, typography, and motion that actually belong to the product.
Collect the material
Read the product's source or approved brand kit. Gather several visually distinct UI moments and the actual mark, colors, and type. Capture footage at sufficient resolution for the intended cells. Avoid repeating the same screen in several cells at once.
For each moment, record the source file, in and out times, subject, and crop. Check the actual frame at both ends; a clip that starts during a transition may open on an empty cell.
Compose by format
Choose a grid that suits the frame, such as a 2×2 layout for wide or square and a vertical stack for tall video. Design each ratio separately. A text-heavy screen may need a different focus point or scale in a narrow cell. Keep controls, charts, and words whole enough to understand; use the source background to extend a cell when a tight crop would break the subject.
Stagger cuts and motion so the eye has one dominant place to look. Open on a balanced mix of product and brand assets. Let each cell animate on its own clock, but avoid simultaneous flashing, repeated footage, and several dark cells landing together.
Review rendered frames at the opening, each cut, and the closing. Inspect every cell for blank frames, clipped text, stray edges, and unsupported assets. Watch the full grid at phone size before exporting the requested formats.
