What does Skill-Distiller do?
Nuwa—Distill documents, notes, and links into reusable AI Agent Skill / Persona archives.
This skill helps you convert your knowledge assets (markdown notes, documentation pages, web links) into a structured, portable AI Agent Skill file. The output follows the standard SKILL.md format, making it ready for use with agents like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
Features
- Document Ingestion: Parse markdown, plain text, and URLs to extract key information.
- Standard Output: Generates a SKILL.md file with agent behavior description, rules, and examples.
- Reusable Personas: Create modular personas that can be combined or swapped between sessions.
- Version Control Friendly: The generated skill files are plain text and can be tracked in Git.
Usage
To distill a document into a skill file:
# Example CLI command (if applicable)
nuwa distill ./notes.md --output ./skills/my-skill.md
Or use the skill interactively within an AI agent:
- Share the source document or URL with the agent.
- The agent will analyze the content and produce a skill file.
- Save the output as a
.mdfile and load it into your agent.
Supported Platforms
- Claude Code
- Cursor
- Codex
- Any agent supporting custom SKILL.md definitions
Example
Input: a markdown file with coding style guidelines.
Output: a SKILL.md that instructs the agent to follow those guidelines in all responses.
