Hold Command and tap backtick (Control on non-Mac platforms), then release to open the selected session. Arrow keys move the selection; Escape cancels. The command palette opens the switcher for mouse/Enter selection. Seven sessions are shown; visited sessions precede recently updated fallback candidates. Visit history is local to this browser profile; archived/hidden/deleted threads are excluded. Provider icons follow the sidebar’s Organize → Rows → Provider icons setting. With a visible Browser tab the switcher opens beside it, because native pages paint above plugin overlays.
Change the shortcut in Settings → Keyboard → Switch recent sessions, or:

BB resolves shortcut conflicts. A modifier-free binding stays open until Enter/click. Terminal or embedded-browser focus may reserve keys for its own surface. Disable/reload removes the switcher and pending navigation.
Choose Horizontal cards (default) or Vertical list in Settings → Installed plugins → Sessions’ switcher → Layout. The setting applies immediately and preserves the current selection.
Known desktop limitation: a native embedded Browser surface can cover this overlay. BB's browser-dimming hook is not exposed to plugins in SDK 0.6.49; fixing that requires a host API change.
