aeroray/SkillSage

A local-first AI agent skill manager for organizing, updating, and deploying skills and prompts across your favorite developer tools.

What is SkillSage?

SkillSage is a local-first, unified manager for AI agent skills and prompts, designed to streamline development workflows across multiple tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and others. It allows you to centrally collect, organize, and deploy skills from sources such as GitHub, local directories, or built-in templates. With SkillSage, you can easily add, update, edit, and remove skills, and synchronize them to the appropriate tool-specific configurations (e.g., CLAUDE.md for Claude Code, .cursorrules for Cursor). The tool features an interactive terminal UI, JSON-based skill storage, and commands for listing, backing up, and managing skills. It is especially useful for developers who want to maintain a consistent set of AI agent behaviors across different platforms without manual duplication or version drift.
