Lumorig MCP server and agent skill
Create, animate and export brand mascots from your coding agent. Describe a new mascot or bring the one you already have, then ship it as Lottie, animated SVG, transparent clips or a live web embed.
This repo holds the setup for the hosted MCP server, an agent skill that teaches your agent how to use Lumorig, and small examples. The server runs at https://lumorig.com/api/mcp, so there is nothing to build or host.
Install
Claude Code plugin (server and skill)
/plugin marketplace add lumorig/lumorig-mcp
/plugin install lumorig@lumorig
Claude Code (server only)
claude mcp add --transport http lumorig https://lumorig.com/api/mcp
Then run /mcp, choose lumorig and authenticate. Your browser opens once.
Cursor
// .cursor/mcp.json
{
"mcpServers": {
"lumorig": { "url": "https://lumorig.com/api/mcp" }
}
}
Cursor shows "Needs login" next to it. Click it, then allow access.
Claude Desktop and claude.ai
Go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it Lumorig and use the URL https://lumorig.com/api/mcp.
The skill on its own
npx skills add lumorig/lumorig-mcp
Or copy skills/lumorig into your agent's skills folder.
With an API key
For servers, CI or a client that can't open a browser, create a key in the studio:
claude mcp add --transport http lumorig https://lumorig.com/api/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer lr_sk_…"
What to ask your agent
- "Create a friendly otter mascot for my budgeting app and put it in the empty state."
- "Rebuild the mascot at this image URL as a rigged vector, then give me the embed code."
- "Export the wave as Lottie."
- "Make a chatbot avatar that listens, thinks and talks, and wire it to my chat events."
- "Read our website and suggest three mascots that fit the brand."

Good to know
- Lumorig is a hosted service. Creating and editing use credits, and the free plan gets you started.
- The hosted server can't read or write files on your machine, so it takes image URLs and returns download URLs.
- There are also a CLI, a TypeScript SDK and a REST API.
